Whenever we join a craft show or fair we enjoy attending them, but have we ever wondered why vendors liked to attend craft shows? There are some benefits to a shop that keeps on moving around compared with a shop that is permanent.

Some crafts show space fees are not expensive, like a non-juried craft show where the fee will be around $30-$100. At times the fee will include free use of table and chairs but this has to be inquired from you event organizers.

In a craft show there are different vendors who will also join having different products on display. This will give you the chance to mingle with other vendors and once you have created a rapport with them you can learn a lot from their experience. You can then start creating a business network with the other vendors.

To help you improve your craft and business it is best to observe what the customers want and need. You will have more to observe when there are other vendors around, like observing how the customers are reacting to their products compare to your products.

Even though the craft show is not a permanent shop there is also a benefit to having to move your products from one area to another area. Compared to a permanent shop where your type of customers will depend mostly on the residents of your shop area. With the craft show you can pack up your products and display them at another area creating a bigger range of customer and a wider range for your product to be promoted.
