Craft Fair Reality

Joining the bigger league is different from the time when we sold our crafts to our family and friends. When we were just starting our small business our family and friends gave us positive reinforcements. But will the big leaguer there are hard facts that maybe hard to accept.

After a few craft shows we will come to realizes that our craft is not something that people need to buy. Our craft is not something that people can not live without. But rather an item that will feed to our customers dreams, wants and fantasies.

The Blessed Cross Church Flea Market has been held for the last 9 years. On May 2, 2009 the Blessed Cross Church Flea Market will be held for this year. The location of the event will be at the Blessed Cross Methodist Church Flea Market, Intersection Of Hiway 169 & 273RD Ave Nw. This is an indoor and outdoor event that will feature a great amount of products for sale.

Avon Park Craft Fair

One of the oldest Cities in Highlands County is Avon Park. Long time ago an English lady can to settle in Lake Forest which was the name before it became Avon Park. This English lady said that the place looked like her home town in England called Stratford-upon-Avon. She then went out to persuade the first permanent settler, Oliver Martin Crosby to change Lake Forest to Avon Park.

The Mississippi Valley Blues Society is a non-profit organization with a mission to educate the public about the native art of blues music. Their mission is met by the performance, interpretation and preservation of the blues music. They hope that the public will understand and appreciate the music.

The organization created an activity called the Blues Education program. This program is a four to nine weeks of blues music that is incorporated in the educational system. It is a set of 15 performers that will perform and have workshops at the school, library or the towns center. Their performance and workshop will be about the blues history and heritage.

At the American Legion Clifton Post 421, 22001 Brookpark Road, American legion Hall, Fairview Park, OH, 44126 on April 18, 2009 there will be a Fairview Park Spring Craft Show. The festival will start from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. This festival has been held for the last three years. It is an indoor and non-juried craft show.

There will be an admission fee of $1.00 for the public. The parking spaces will be free and will have enough to accommodate all visitors. The craft show will feature a lot of quality handmade crafts and arts by professional craft makers and vendors. There will be raffle draw at the crafts shows for the visitors and vendors alike.

Reiki Share at Massachusetts

A workshop called the Reiki Sharing will be held on April 5, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. onwards. The workshop will be at The Silver Willow, 54 Fall River Ave, Rehoboth, MA 02769. An admission fee of $10.00 will be asked and you will also need to bring a notebook with you.

Sha Stafford a Reiki Master will be facilitating the workshop. There will be different Reiki practitioners who will attend this workshop. They either will learn from Sha the Reiki Master or to learn from other Reiki practitioners.

Spring on the Farm

The Spring on the Farm sponsored by Watkins Mill Association will be on April 18, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. This educational event will be held at the Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site. There will be different activities that visitors can learn from and enjoy at the same time.

One of the activities available for the visitors to learn from is the 1870s sheep shearing. There will be a display of rare and endangered livestock at the American Livestock Breeds Conservatory. There will also be an heirloom garden where interpreters wearing an 1870s custom will prepare the raised beds and plant seeds that were harvest from last years heirloom.

Wouldnt you like to be paid for something you love to do? Most of us have been working for as long as we can remember. We work to pay our expenses and our bills, not even wondering if we love what we are doing.

Beautiful thing are appreciated by everyone and buy thing because of its beauty. Any hobby that we love to do will create a beautiful item. It is something we have lovingly created therefore would be appreciated by others.
