Many people think of Los Angeles as a glamorous and glitzy place, and rightfully so considering its famous residents. If you think of Tinsel town this way, you would right. No ring can beat the one Paris Hilton received when she was briefly engaged with Paris Latsis. He gave her a $5 million 24 carat ring along with another $2 million ring. One has to wonder why those two didn’t actually marry after all that?

Another ring that is not an outrageous but still very opulent was the one Rachel Zoe got from her hubby while pregnant. He got a nice large rock from Los Angeles jeweler Neil Lane, right before she gave birth.

If I got a ring like that every time I got pregnant, I’d probably try to get pregnant every year. Just kidding. In the celebrity world of Hollywood, when getting married the ring is something that will be all over magazines. This may be why so many celebs have such expensive and extravagant rings.

Another reason I’m sure is the fact that they simply can afford it. When you fall in love and you make millions a year, $500k on a ring is chump change. Too bad most of these extravagant celebrations of love don’t last very long. Just at look at Kim K’s situation. I sure hope Kris got his money back.
