« The Various Ways People Are Watching Movies Online   The Ways To Keep The Spark In Your Marriage »

Seldom have you seen a movie that makes you think about the anonymities of right and wrong. A flurry of emotions rarely ever descends from the heart of a director from the crew to the screen. A story with so rare aura, that captures the truth personified in two men is a must watch.

Unthinkable exactly does that, without any prohibitions it succeeds in raising the question of limits of the pain inflicted on the suspect or the criminal and even the terrorist. Gregor Jordan, one of the true followers of good cinema, having previously given us memorable films as Two Hands, Buffalo Soldiers, Nerd Kelly and The informers strikes the hammer down hard this time with a marvellous piece of cinema in Unthinkable.

Written by Peter Woodward, a man who is enthusiastically implicated in almost every corner of the movie making business, such as being an actor in Fringe, Charmed, Crusade and written some excellent work; Closing the Ring, The House of Angelo and simultaneously involved in the stunts crew, fight director, soundtrack and producer. Words cannot be raised about the level of creativity he infuses in a project.

The story is about an American man, Yusuf a terrorist who has planted bombs in three different locations around the America. But he refuses to disclose the location to the team investigating the action. Special agent Helen Brody is the leading officer, and she is unable to make him disclose the location. Enters agent ‘H’, who has the authority and the power to do anything, in the process of retrieving the vital information. And soon, he chops off Yusuf’s fingers by strapping his arm.

Shortly, Yusuf directs Brody off in a wrong direction, and a bomb at one of the shopping complex takes off killing 53 people. Infuriated, ‘H’ threatens Yusuf by bringing his wife, and tortures her in front of him. Still getting no reaction from him, ‘H’ slashes her throat in front of Yusuf’s eyes, thinking it will have an effect on him. But it doesn’t, that leads to her death by excessive bleeding. He tries to do harm to Yusuf’s children also, but is stopped by fellow team members.

An incredible tale of terrorism, and its various aspects, bringing alive the pain a man can suffer and the pain a man can inflict by unfolding various levels of Yusuf and Agent ‘H’. The tagline of the movie does justice to what the story holds in the inside, ‘right and wrong no longer exist’.

An excellent act by the gifted cast it has, such as the genius of Samuel L. Jackson, Carrie Anne Ross; famous for portraying Trinity from Matrix, Michael Sheen, and Brandon Routh; star of Superman Returns, Joshua Harto, Gill Bellows, Stephen Root, Michael rose. It is a must watch for movie goers, it makes you think, it makes you jump, it can scare the hell out of you. Isn’t it enough?
