True Blood is the absolute hottest thing to hit the television world in years! If you don’t love this HBO series, then you must have already had blood sucked dry from your veins! Since it’s launch on September 7, 2008 the show has been killing (no pun intended) all competition.

This is no doubt due mostly to having an incredible show, combined with an outstanding marketing plan. You should definitely not count out the fact that the women on True Blood have in bringing in the viewers though. The show’s producers made sure to cast some of the hottest young talent that Hollywood had to offer for this one!

The show was created and also produced by Alan Ball. It was actually based on a series of books. This book series was centered around Sookie Stackhouse and was written by Charlaine Harris. Harris was able to hit upon vampire mystique and life in a way that had never been done. The coexistence between vampires and humans is the main focus of the plot.

The setting chosen is a made-up town in the state of Louisiana. The whole ‘voodoo’ vibe of Louisiana does nothing but add to the effect. Of course, the cast chosen had to add their own bit of spice and mystery to accurately capture the characters. The women on True Blood do exactly that! Not to mention, they’re extremely hot and sexy!

Anna Paquin is the main character on the show. She plays the role of Sookie Stackhouse herself. Sookie Stackhouse is a waitress in a local restaurant. She has been born with the ability to actually listen to the thoughts of others. Sookie falls in love with a vampire and the story goes on and on from there. Theres no doubt about Anna Paquin rating very high on the sexiness scale.

I didnt really think Anna Paquin was too sexy when I saw her in her previous roles. I thought she was cute in the X-Men series, but not hot. I guess this role has her on another level because she shows so much skin. That could definitely be the case! HBO gives us quite a treat and allows us to see Anna Paquin’s body while shes going through a couple steaming sex scenes with her vampire lover Bill.

In the role of Amy Burley, I can say beyond the shadow of any doubt that Lizzy Caplan has the hottest role of all the women on True Blood! Amy is the drug-addicted lover of Jason Stackhouse, Sookie’s brother. In case you’re wondering, the drug of choice in True Blood isn’t coke, marijuana, or methamphetamine. It’s “V-juice,” short for vampire juice. As in…vampire blood!

Lizzy’s character is about as v-juice crazy as they come! The good thing for us viewers is that the drug seems to have an effect similar to that of ecstasy pills times 100. Of course, this leads to a bunch of episodes with Lizzy Caplan in the buff and having these wild love scenes with Ryan Kwanten who plays Jason Stackouse. I have never seen a wilder scene than the whole ‘field’ episode. I won’t ruin it. Go check it out!
