Doing a California craft show for the first time will sometimes be scary. That is why researching more about the dos and donts of a craft show does wonders in easing your fears. So read on to be guided.

In searching for a craft show or fair, making sure that it is in your local area will help you save on your investment cost. You can save on the gas expense when you are just moving around your area and you can cut the time to move around. Even your marketing expense will be cut because you can advertise through your friends.

When you plan out the shows that you are going to attend, make sure to go to different shows and location. Having different shows and location to go to will help bring up your sales and introduce your product to more customers.

When you apply to be part for a craft show makes sure not to assume that the event organizers know what you need. Remember it is not only your product that they will be thinking about. Be specific in informing the event organizers your needs. Lets them know how many tables, electrical sockets or space that you will need.

Having paid and scheduled your crafts show will not be enough. Your products will not sell as much when you just put them on the table and let them sell them selves. Customers are attracted to the display you will have. So make sure to add some decorations to your booth like table cloth and flowers.

Sometimes your first craft show will be a little disappointing. So it is good to keep an open and positive out look because it will help uplift your morale. Remember it usually take 2-3 shows before one will get a hang of how the craft show goes.
